Also booo double shift day. Boss is against paying overtime but we have no other option so even though he says nope you can't work doubles I'll get someone to work that shift... he never does.

Bought a $59 tomato spoon over the weekend... I don't even like tomatoes. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow.

Apparently antique stores are also off the list of safe places to go when I am trying to save money.

You know I spent $150 bucks on four bottles of wine over the weekend. SSS bought two bottles at $100 a piece (but she had a $100 GC).

I have my BDUs on today. I swear they are the most comfortable pants I own. Oh and I want to know where the fic writers of Jack/Daniel and John/Rodney are getting those BDUs with zippers. I can only find the button fly ones everywhere I check.

C is MIA again

So I finished Death Note. Wow did the last few eps drag or what? Not sure how I feel about the anime as a whole but I still love L.

Making pancakes tonight for dinner. Blueberry. Yum.

Be All My Sin Remembered -Felt bad for Fran and Spoils of War. Wow do these writers like to tie Sheppard up or what? Not that thwere's anything wrong with that...I'd be inclined to do the same.

I'm on episode 19 of Death Note. It's getting confusing. If not for the pretty (L) I'd move on to SGA.

Speaking of SGA. I have to admit I like Carter. This bothers me. Not impressed with the casting changes for next season.

I have a recording of Doctor Rodney McKay for my phone thanks to freedomrhodes on LJ for the tip. If only I could figure out how to get it on my phone.

Speaking of freedomrhodes She is doing P365 as well and her pictures are fantastic.

Downloading music does work... when it's me anyway. I really really liked The National's Fake Empire that data_warrior shared and so today I went out an bought their Boxer CD. I like it. I think I'll go back and buy a couple more of their cds.

I lost the Hairy Tarantula comic store. How did I miss that moving away?

Almost caught up SGA I watched S4x10 tonight and I think they just showed 14. I love Kate Hewlett but I wish they wrote Jeannie better. She is kinda mean. Once again it is proven David Hewlett can make me cry. He puts just the perfect amount of emotion in Rodney. This Mortal Coil was full of teamy goodness.

Death Note News....
I'm on episode 14. Bought a few of the manga because I have no will power. Also bought a Tee shirt. L of course.

No C again although I hear she may be back tomorrow.

Yay! I gave SSS $500 towards the trip. I refuse to wait to the last minute and then stress over money.

Catching up with SGA.

Why can't there be a woman guest star without the kissing? John looked really hot but he totally should have hit her back. Plus fell for the whole kissing to escape, I expect more from him. The rest was kinda blah.

C was missing again. I worked really hard today and the day flew by as a result.

To keep an interesting comparison...last year 18 sick days and 8 family days. So far this year 2 family days and 2 sick days.

I finally, FINALLY bought Cosmos on DVD! Should be here tomorrow. I am beyond thrilled. I was re-watching my 3rd tape (for possibly the millionth time) and my VCR finally ate it for good, so it was time. I also ordered The Varieties of Scientific Experience, an edited version of his 1985 Gifford Lectures.

I was reading an interview with Ann Druyan and saw this....About a year ago, Ms. Druyan went looking for Dr. Sagan’s lectures, eventually finding them filed under “Ethos” in his archive at Cornell, which occupies 1,000 filing cabinets and includes things like his baby pictures and report cards.

I would like to volunteer to be keeper of His Stuff.

C was absent for school today. :) For fun I am going to keep track this year.

Now I have to rush off I have only 20 minutes to finish this AU SGA fic before I have to watch SGA S4x05. I am determined to finish the season so far by the weekend.
